FACULTY/STAFF INFORMATION

Overview:
Georgia Tech faculty and staff members serve as cluster facilitators.
Each session has four or five cluster facilitators. The primary responsibility of cluster facilitators is working with a group of 10 to 14 participants, called a family cluster. The family cluster is the formal support and reference group for the participants during the LeaderShape week. Cluster facilitators serve as a resource, catalyst, and facilitator. They also create opportunities for feedback and develop positive interpersonal relationships and group skills.

Time commitment:
A one-day training session will be held on August 8th. The six-day program schedule is extremely challenging, with activities scheduled from 8:00 A.M. - 10: 00 P.M. daily. In addition, cluster facilitators are expected to be available to participants for individual discussions at times when there are no scheduled activities, usually after 9:00 P.M. Facilitators will be staying at the site for the entire week and participating in all the sessions.

Travel arrangements:
Facilitators may vanpool to the LeaderShape facility or drive their personal vehicle.

Housing arrangements:
Facilitators have private rooms and bathrooms in the facilitator cabin.
